New Holiday Events Near Greenleaf: Night Light Parade and Winter Markets
The holiday calendar near Greenleaf just filled in for the rest of 2026. Organizers have confirmed dates for Caldwell's Treasure Valley Night Light Parade and Winter Lights Market on December 5, a run of November craft bazaars from Caldwell to Nampa, and the return of several winter markets, most within a 20-minute drive of 20602 Academy Rd. If you are choosing where to settle in for the season, this is the year to be close to downtown Caldwell, where the holidays now stretch from mid-November through early January.
Caldwell Holiday Craft Bazaar: November 13-14
The Caldwell Holiday Craft Bazaar returns to O'Connor Field House in Caldwell on Friday and Saturday, November 13-14, with local vendors, handmade goods, and early holiday shopping under one roof. It lands the second weekend of November, right between the Nampa Craft & Chocolate Affaire (November 6-7) and the big Thanksgiving-week market weekend, giving Treasure Valley shoppers a full month of local gift stalls, all within about 10 minutes of 20602 Academy Rd.
Early-November Bazaars: Autumn Wind and the Bazaar Blast
November opens with two more ways to shop local. Autumn Wind Assisted Living in Caldwell hosts its holiday bazaar Monday and Tuesday, November 9-10 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and First Assembly of God at 821 N 16th Ave in Caldwell runs its "Bazaar Blast" at The Domes early in the month. Both are casual, community-run markets that feel a lot like the small-town holiday fairs Greenleaf is known for, just minutes from home.
The Big Weekend: November 20-22
The third weekend of November is the true start of the season near Greenleaf. The Winter Wonderland Festival lights up Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell Friday through Sunday, November 20-22, with more than 1.5 million lights, outdoor ice skating, Santa, carriage rides, and the city tree lighting, while Greenleaf's own country Christmas bazaar returns to the community center Friday, November 20. The same weekend, the Canyon County Christmas Show fills the Ford Idaho Center Arena in Nampa with more than 200 vendors and handmade holiday finds. Three celebrations in three towns, none more than 20 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd.
Vintage Market Days: December 4-6
Vintage Market Days of the Treasure Valley brings its curated market of vintage, handmade, and antique goods to the Ford Idaho Horse Park in Nampa Friday through Sunday, December 4-6. It is a bigger, boutique-style take on the holiday craft fair, with more than 100 vendors and a distinctly warm, discovery-driven shopping day, about 20 minutes from Greenleaf.
Treasure Valley Night Light Parade: Saturday, December 5
Caldwell's downtown holiday parade returns Saturday, December 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM under the theme "Let Freedom Glow. Christmas in America." The route runs along Cleveland Boulevard from 22nd Avenue to Kimball Avenue, and the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce lines it with floats, lights, bands, and holiday floats that bring the whole town out. Before and during the parade, the Caldwell Winter Lights Market sets up at 7th Avenue and Arthur Street from 4:00 to 9:00 PM with holiday vendors and warm drinks. It is everything small-town Idaho does well, and parking is only about 10 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd.
2C Cowboy Christmas: Friday, December 18
The 2C Cowboy Christmas returns Friday, December 18 at 10:00 AM at 2207 Blaine St in Caldwell, a western-flavored holiday gathering at the D&B Supply Arena that pairs cowboy heritage with Christmas shopping. A fitting close to the winter market season for a town like Greenleaf, where ranch roots and holiday spirit run equally deep.
A Season Built for Small-Town Living
What makes all of this special is that it happens in your own backyard. From 20602 Academy Rd you can bake at home for the bazaar, drive ten minutes to the parade, skate at Winter Wonderland, and still be back in time for a quiet evening by the fire pit. The home's covered patio, fenced yard, and comfortable kitchen make it a natural gathering spot for the whole holiday stretch, and the powered shop and garage loft handle the overflow of gifts and decorations that the season brings. See our Thanksgiving guide for the weeks in between, or our holiday lights roundup for the drive-through shows.
