This Week Near Greenleaf: October 20-26, 2026

· By Paul Knighton

The week of October 20 through 26 is harvest peak in the Treasure Valley: Apple Days at Cherry Hill Farms lands Friday and Saturday, live music returns to Caldwell and Nampa midweek and over the weekend, and the pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and haunted attractions all run their final weekends before Halloween. For anyone living at 20602 Academy Rd, it is a week that pairs the best of the farm calendar with a quiet place to come home to.

Apple Days at Cherry Hill Farms: Friday and Saturday, October 23-24

The biggest weekend of the harvest season near Greenleaf arrives Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, when Cherry Hill Farms at 19125 Apricot Lane in Caldwell hosts Apple Days: u-pick apples straight off the trees, fresh-pressed cider, the seven-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and the farm's barrel-train and cow-train rides, tube slides, and farm animals. It is the farm's signature weekend of the year, about 10 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd. Arrive early for the best picking and parking. Read our full Apple Days guide.

In This Moment at Revolution Concert House: Wednesday, October 21

Revolution Concert House in Caldwell keeps the fall concert run going Wednesday, October 21 with In This Moment on stage. It follows Mastodon's stop at the same venue October 5 and continues the string of big-name bands that have made the Caldwell venue a regular tour stop, all about 10 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd. Tickets through the venue.

Amarillo By Morning at the Nampa Civic Center: Sunday, October 25

The Nampa Civic Center at 311 3rd Street S closes out its October calendar Sunday, October 25 at 7:00 PM with Amarillo By Morning, a George Strait tribute show. It is a relaxed way to spend a fall Sunday evening, about 20 minutes from Greenleaf, and it wraps up a month of Civic Center shows that included The Addams Family and the venue's Oktoberfest night.

The Final Harvest Weekends

This is the last full week for most of the fall farm season. Cherry Hill Farms Fall Festival runs through October 31 with its corn maze, pumpkin patch, and family activities, and the pumpkin patches and corn mazes at Shindig Farms and Vala's near Nampa stay busy through their final weekends. Roaring Springs' drive-through Spooky Light Show continues through October 30 in Meridian, and the Haunted World at 20031 Northside Blvd and Requiem Haunted House at 810 Main St in Caldwell keep their fall-evening haunt schedules through Halloween.

The Week Ahead: Halloween Week Begins

Halloween week starts right after this one: the 39th Annual Downtown Nampa Trick-or-Treat runs Thursday, October 29 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, the Great Downtown Harvest Festival typically fills Indian Creek Plaza the last weekend of October, and Boise State hosts Texas State for its Halloween Night game Saturday, October 31 at 8:00 PM at Albertsons Stadium. And beyond the costume season, the Winter Wonderland Festival lights up Indian Creek Plaza for its opening weekend November 20-22, with the light display running through mid-January. Life at 20602 Academy Rd: Harvest Week at Home

Weeks like this one are why the fall season is such a draw in Greenleaf. From 20602 Academy Rd you can fill the day at Apple Days, catch a show at Revolution in the evening, and still come back to a quiet rural road, a fully fenced yard, and a fire pit ready for the first crisp nights of the season. The home's solar and battery backup, tankless water heater, and whole-house filtration handle the seasonal change comfortably, while the produced peach tree in the yard is a reminder that this part of Idaho grows its own bounty.
