Apple Days at Cherry Hill Farms: October 23-24 Near Greenleaf

· By Paul Knighton

The signature day on Cherry Hill Farms' fall calendar is Apple Days, set for Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, 2026, at 19125 Apricot Lane in Caldwell. It is the farm's biggest event of the season, adding u-pick apples and freshly pressed cider to the full festival lineup of corn maze, pumpkin patch, wagon rides, and farm animals, all about 10 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd in Greenleaf.

What Happens at Apple Days

Apple Days is the highlight of the farm's fall season: apples ready for picking on the trees, fresh-pressed apple cider, and every activity the Fall Festival offers running the same weekend. Plan for a large corn maze, the u-pick pumpkin patch, barrel-train and cow-train rides, tube slides, a straw bale maze, farm animals, and craft and food vendors. Admission runs around $10 per person.

The Fall Festival Runs September 25 Through October 31

The full Cherry Hill Farms Fall Festival opens Friday, September 25 and runs through Saturday, October 31, so there is no shortage of chances to visit before and after Apple Days. Located at 19125 Apricot Lane in Caldwell, it is the closest fall festival to Greenleaf, about 10 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd. A weekday afternoon or a crisp October weekend both work.

Build a Late-October Weekend Around It

Apple Days lands on the last full weekend before Halloween, which makes it a natural anchor for a festive couple of days. Start with apples and cider at the farm, then extend the season at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell, where the Great Downtown Harvest Festival typically fills the plaza the last weekend of October with live music, local vendors, and harvest-themed family fun just 11 minutes from home. Check the plaza calendar for this year's dates.

Why Fall Is the Best Season Near Greenleaf

A five-minute drive to a working farm, a ten-minute drive to a fire-lit plaza, and a quiet, fenced yard with a producing peach tree waiting back at 20602 Academy Rd: that is the small-town rhythm of fall in Greenleaf. The nearby orchards and farms are a big part of why families choose this part of the Treasure Valley, and Apple Days is the season's best excuse to get out and enjoy it.
