Shop Small Saturday and Holiday Markets Near Greenleaf: Your 2026 Guide

· By Paul Knighton

Holiday shopping near Greenleaf Idaho is a month-long affair in 2026, built around local makers and small-town markets rather than one big-box day. The season starts with the Holiday Makers Market in Nampa November 6-7, builds through the Canyon County Christmas Show and Winter Wonderland's artisan market November 20-22, and peaks on Small Business Saturday, November 28, with Warhawk Winterfest and downtown Nampa's S'more's & Shop Small. All of it sits within about 20 minutes of 20602 Academy Rd.

Small Business Saturday: November 28

Saturday, November 28 is the anchor of the shopping weekend after Thanksgiving. In Nampa, the historic district hosts S'more's & Shop Small along 1st Street South starting at 11:00 AM, a family-friendly day of independent shops, food, and s'mores by the fire. The same morning, the Warhawk Air Museum at 201 Municipal Drive in Nampa hosts Warhawk Winterfest from 10:00 AM, an indoor holiday market inside one of Idaho's best aviation museums, with local vendors and family activities. Two small-business stops in one town, both about 20 minutes from Greenleaf, make a relaxed day of it.

Caldwell's Indian Creek Plaza carries the same spirit through the season with its Light the World Giving Machines, where shoppers buy meals, hygiene kits, and other gifts for people in need, a meaningful way to add giving to the shopping list, just 11 minutes from home.

The Month of Markets: November 6 Through 22

The markets start early this year. The Holiday Makers Market at the Nampa Civic Center, formerly the Craft & Chocolate Affaire, runs Friday, November 6 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday, November 7 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with more than 100 artisans, a scavenger hunt, and a community Christmas tree, about 20 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd.

Mid-month, the Caldwell Holiday Craft Bazaar fills O'Connor Field House November 13-14, and the Greenleaf Country Christmas Bazaar returns to the Greenleaf Community Center on Friday, November 20 with homemade crafts, holiday gifts, baked goods, and gift wrapping, literally minutes from home. The same weekend, the Canyon County Christmas Show fills the Ford Idaho Center Arena November 20-22 with more than 200 vendors, while the Winter Wonderland Festival at Indian Creek Plaza runs a winter market of local artisans under more than 1.5 million lights. Why Shopping Local Suits Greenleaf

Buying from local makers is a natural fit for the way Greenleaf already works: the Wednesday farmers market on Highway 19, the neighbor-run bazaar at the community center, and the small shops of downtown Caldwell and Nampa all run on the same principle, that the people who make and sell the goods live here too. A home like 20602 Academy Rd puts you in the middle of it, quiet enough that the holidays feel calm, close enough that every market and Small Business Saturday stop is a short drive.
