Holiday Makers Market and the Nampa Civic Center's November Lineup

· By Paul Knighton

The Nampa Civic Center packs a full month of entertainment into November 2026, all about 20 minutes from 20602 Academy Rd in Greenleaf. The month opens with a Bon Jovi tribute on Monday, November 2, rolls into the renamed Holiday Makers Market on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7, and closes mid-month with a 60s-duos revue on Saturday, November 14. It is a strong sign of how much winter entertainment the Treasure Valley keeps within an easy drive of a small town like Greenleaf.

Monday, November 2: The Black Jacket Symphony Plays Bon Jovi

The Black Jacket Symphony presents Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet at the Nampa Civic Center at 311 3rd Street S on Monday, November 2 at 7:30 PM. The tribute performs a classic album in its entirety with a live band, then opens the second set to fan favorites, a format that has made the series a hit in midsize venues across the country. It is an easy Monday-night date, a short drive from Greenleaf and a relaxed way to start the holiday month.

November 6-7: Holiday Makers Market, Formerly the Craft & Chocolate Affaire

The Civic Center's November centerpiece is the Holiday Makers Market, the Nampa tradition formerly known as the Craft & Chocolate Affaire, running Friday, November 6 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday, November 7 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. More than 100 artisans and local businesses fill the building with pottery, jewelry, ornaments, blankets, paintings, and pet gear, alongside a scavenger hunt and a community Christmas tree. Chocolate purveyors still make an appearance under the new name, so the sweet-tooth draw of the old event lives on.

The market lands the same weekend as several other first-weekend-of-November stops: Jo Koy plays the Ford Idaho Center Arena on Saturday, November 7, Mustard Seed Home Decor & More at 223 13th Ave S in Nampa hosts its Big Christmas Kickoff both days, and the Eagle Holiday Bazaar fills Eagle High School with roughly 150 juried artisans. You could shop Nampa in the morning, browse Eagle in the afternoon, and still make the comedy show that night, all within about 30 minutes of Greenleaf.

November 14: Dynamic Duos of the 60s and the Buddy Holly Experience

The Civic Center closes its second weekend of the month Saturday, November 14 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with Dynamic Duos of the 60s and the Buddy Holly Experience, a double bill of tribute entertainment booked back to back. It falls the same night as Three Days Grace at the Ford Idaho Center Arena, giving the valley two very different ways to spend a Saturday evening, each about 20 minutes from Greenleaf.

What It Means for Greenleaf Living

A month like this is exactly what makes Greenleaf's location work so well. The town itself stays quiet, with the Wednesday farmers market on Highway 19 and the Country Christmas Bazaar at the community center carrying the local calendar, and a full slate of concerts, markets, and shows sits 20 minutes up the road in Nampa. Owning at 20602 Academy Rd means you get the acreage, the shop, and the small-town pace, with the valley's entertainment a short, easy drive away instead of a commute.

Tickets for Civic Center events are available through the Nampa Civic Center's box office and website. If you are shopping for a Greenleaf home and want to know more about the rhythm of life here, contact me or browse the full community events calendar.
